The Stock Merchant sardines in brine solution are my favourite. The ingredients are simple - sardines, water and sea salt, no sdditives! The light salinity echoes out the real taste of sardines free of greasiness. Every bite gives meaty, tasty, ocean-fresh feel and the texture of sardines is just right not too soft not too firm. Excellent!

McKenzie’s Coconut Flour 330g
A little flour that goes a long way.
McKenzie’s Coconut Flour is a delicious, wholesome alternative to wheat flour^. It’s made from 100% coconut, with nothing added. This dense, finely milled flour adds a healthy twist and a gentle natural sweetness to everything from fluffy pancakes to moist muffins and golden crumbed chicken.
Why cooks love it
- High in dietary fibre. It has about 38g of fibre per 100g, which is far more than regular wheat flour.
- One ingredient: 100% coconut flour. Nothing else is added.
- Naturally sweet and mild. It adds a soft coconut note without the sugar rush.
- Grain-free baking hero. It’s a pantry favourite for grain-free, paleo-style and low-carb recipes.
- Super absorbent. A small scoop goes a long way, so a 330g pack lasts.
- A trusted Australian pantry brand. McKenzie’s has been a staple in Australian kitchens for generations.
How to use it
Coconut flour soaks up liquid like a sponge, so it doesn’t swap 1:1 for wheat flour.
- Use less flour. Start with about ¼ of the wheat flour amount the recipe asks for.
- Add more moisture. Add extra egg or liquid. A good rule of thumb is 1 egg per 30g of coconut flour.
- Let the batter rest for 5 minutes so it thickens before cooking.
- Use tested coconut flour recipes for the best results.
