Picture this: It’s 1990 in Byron Bay. The sun is shining, the surf is rolling in, and a couple of passionate bakers are setting up a little stall at the Byron Bay markets. Armed with a few trays of freshly baked cookies and a whole lot of heart, they had one simple mission:
👉 to share the joy of handcrafted cookies with anyone who walked by.
Word spread quickly. Locals and travellers alike fell in love with the crumbly edges, melty choc chunks, and that unmistakable Byron Bay spirit baked into every bite. Before long, the line at the market stall was almost as long as the beach itself. 🏄♂️🍪

What started as a small local favourite soon took to the skies — quite literally. Byron Bay Cookies became the signature treat served on Qantas flights, giving travellers around the world their first taste of our little Australian treasure.
