HuskeeSwap and HuskeeLoop: How the System Works

Buying a reusable cup is a positive first step, but the bigger opportunity is to keep products circulating and provide a responsible pathway when they eventually wear out. Huskee supports this through two connected programs: HuskeeSwap and HuskeeLoop.

What is HuskeeSwap?

HuskeeSwap is a reusable cup-exchange system operated through participating cafés and venues. Instead of relying on a new disposable cup with every order, customers can use a compatible Huskee cup within the participating network.

Availability depends on the cafés operating in your area. Customers can use Huskee’s venue finder or ask their favourite café whether it participates.

For cafés, a swap system can make reuse easier for customers who forget to bring a cup from home or do not want to carry a used cup for the rest of the day.

What is HuskeeLoop?

Even durable reusable products eventually reach the end of their usable life. HuskeeLoop is the brand’s product-stewardship program for collecting eligible end-of-life Huskee products and repurposing their material.

Individuals may be able to return worn cups through participating HuskeeSwap locations or other designated return channels. Businesses and wholesale customers can contact Huskee for the appropriate return option in their region.

When is a cup at end of life?

HuskeeOriginal is designed for long-term use, but customers should stop using a cup if it becomes significantly degraded or damaged. A cup that is no longer safe or suitable for drinking should be replaced and directed to an available recovery program rather than placed automatically in household recycling.

Why are there only two core colours?

HuskeeOriginal is intentionally offered in Natural and Charcoal. Limiting the colour range makes it easier to separate recovered products as part of the end-of-life process.

Together, HuskeeSwap and HuskeeLoop extend the story beyond a single purchase: use the cup repeatedly, keep it circulating where possible and return it responsibly when it is worn out.
